AFTI Training
AFTI is a Registered Training Organisation and is authorised to provide nationally accredited training which is competency based. Competency based training evaluates the
skills and knowledge of learners against a set of Nationally Accredited
Competencies. Each unit of competency is assessed by measuring learner
performance against the evidence criteria for that unit. Nationally
accredited qualifications are recognised across Australia which means that if you
successfully complete a course of study in one state the qualification
is recognised in all states.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Through a process of Recognition of
Prior Learning the Institute will be able to assess an individual’s
skills and knowledge against the evidence criteria for units; where the
skills and knowledge are equal or equivalent to those competencies, the
learner will be deemed competent for the accredited unit of competency.
Credit Transfer is also provided. A credit transfer occurs when the
learner produces a certificate or statement of attainment where the
current unit of competency has been previously assessed as competent.
