Windows Level 2

This 3 day course provides in depth understanding of window design principles incorporating the assumptions and considerations necessary to achieve satisfactory performance and includes material selection and limitations, calculating for structural integrity and rain screen principles. It encompasses the principles for achieving energy and acoustic performance and gives a detailed insight into the BCA, Standards, on-site work practices and the Trade Practices Act. The theoretical lessons are reinforced with visits to testing laboratories to witness and discuss physical testing and its relationship to design.
