Standards and Regulations 2012

Significant changes continue to occur with many of the Standards and regulations that impact on the window industry and 2011 was one of the busiest years for reviews and announcements on record. There are also a number of changes coming during 2012.

This one day program provides an in depth view of the Standards and their complementarity with each other and to Federal and State Regulations.

• Understand the application of the most current Standards within the building regulatory system.
• Identify the contradictory compliance requirements for windows and glazed doors.
• Develop a process to assess and construct products for multi-compliance.
• Apply the knowledge with customers and certifiers.

The course includes group work looking at local case studies to demonstrate the Standards and Regulations that must be considered.
